Kristina Doan Strottman

Kristina Doan Strottman joined California State University's Office of General Counsel in August 2019. Kristina is University Counsel for California State University Los Angeles. She previously served in a similar role at California State University Stanislaus. In addition to her responsibilities as University Counsel, she is a member of the Office of General Counsel’s Academic & Student Affairs Team, and a resource attorney on matters relating to Police/Clery/Pitchess Motions and Student Fees & Tuition.

Prior to joining the CSU, Kristina was a litigation partner at Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP. At Burke, she focused on representing public entities in a wide-range of civil rights, tort liability, medical, and employment matters. Kristina began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable John Ramsey Johnson at the District of Columbia Superior Court. Kristina is admitted to practice law in California, all U.S. District Courts in California and Colorado, the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
