Nadá M. Moeiny

Nadá M. Moeiny joined the California State University Office of General Counsel in February 2016. She is currently University Counsel for California State University, Sonoma. She previously served in a similar role at California State University Maritime Academy and California State University, Stanislaus. In addition to her responsibilities as University Counsel, Nadá also serves as a member of the Academic and Student Affairs team and as an Office of General Counsel resource attorney for CSURMA, student discipline and Title IX/DHR. Prior to joining the Office of General Counsel, Nadá served as associate general counsel at Pepperdine University, in Malibu, and Claims Counsel at United Educators, an insurance company in Bethesda, Maryland, that insures over 1,300 educational institutions in the U.S. Prior to these positions, she was a labor and employment associate at Schmeltzer, Aptaker & Shepard, P.C. (now Saul Ewing LLP) in Washington, D.C.​
