Before I begin my opening remarks, on behalf of the board and the entire Cal State community, I offer my heartfelt condolences to all those who are suffering in the wake of the recent and tragic shootings in Georgia, especially the families and loved ones of the victims. And I want to state – in the clearest and strongest terms – the CSU condemns any and all acts of hatred and racism against members of the Asian community, which, sadly, continue to rise. And we stand in solidarity with the Asian community, within our CSU family and across our state and nation.
