Outstanding Professor Dr. Rita Liberti is a lively teacher, an accomplished book author and a respected center director at her CSU East Bay Campus. She is committed to her students, her fellow faculty and the issues of equity, diversity and inclusion. Dr. Liberti is proud to be a first-generation college graduate and the recipient of the Best Monograph Award - North American Society for Sport History (2016) for (Re)Presenting Wilma Rudolph (Syracuse University Press, 2015).
