We have no quote or horizontal image, but hope to add one in the next few weeks.

Amanda Wilcox-Herzog, who joined Cal State San Bernardino in 1999, serves as the director of the Infant/Toddler Laboratory School in the university’s Institute of Child Development and Family Relations and as co-director of the Child Care Access Means Parents in School grant program.

Colleagues and students, who nominated Wilcox-Herzog, noted her passion for teaching. One student wrote, “Her ability to bring real-life examples to life through lecture allowed me to manipulate and understand the specific topics and things we address in class.”

She has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses, and has developed programs and curriculum in  childhood development. She coordinates the human development program; serves as faculty adviser to the Child Development Club; and directs the master’s degree in psychology program with the child development option.
