Ten CSU campuses—Dominguez Hills, Fullerton, Sacramento, East Bay, Channel Islands, San Marcos, Monterey Bay, Humboldt, Northridge and Chico—were ranked among the top 25 online colleges in California by Bestcolleges.com. Further increasing opportunities to earn bachelor's and master's degrees, the CSU's online programs expand access and affordability for more students. The programs also support working adults who require flexibility in scheduling and may be offered in a hybrid format both in the classroom and online.

Online degrees available at the CSU include Dominguez Hills' Master or Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Fullerton's Master of Science in Educational Technology, and Sacramento's Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Programs in business administration, computer science, health care administration and social work are also offered.

Online students have access to a variety of academic support services that are available to traditional students. These services include a career center, peer tutoring, faculty support, video tutorials and more.
