​​​Nine CSU campuses—Channel Islands, Chico, Fresno, Humboldt, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Northridge, San José and San Luis Obispo—will be splitting about $1 million from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to help CalFresh-eligible students sign up, receive and use benefits on campus. Many CSU campuses have already implemented initiatives to provide students with nutritious food, such as Fresno State's Student Cupboard, in a system-wide effort to address student food insecurity and homelessness. ​
