Cal State San Bernardino is one of 12 universities nationwide to offer the Verizon Innovation Learning Camp. The first-of-its-kind program offers African American and Latino male middle school students access to valuable STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) training and entrepreneurial skills. The camp also provides the young students with mentors for continued support after the summer program ends. CSUSB, a Hispanic-Serving Institution, and the Verizon Foundation aim to increase participation by males from underserved communities in STEM fields.
