David Gamboa is the Assistant Vice President of External Relations for California State University, Dominguez Hills. In his role he develops key initiatives between the university and greater community. As the lead liaison between the university and the community he has developed positive relationships and communication with government officials, surrounding neighborhoods, civic and community-based organizations, the local business community and our alumni. In his role he monitors and advocate on legislation, programs, and proposals that impact the university and to support engagement opportunities for the communities surrounding CSU Dominguez Hills. He also oversees the day to day responsibility for the Office of Alumni Relations. His responsibilities include the engagement of outreach to our alumni, and the development of alumni programs and initiatives.
Prior to his role at the university, he worked in the office of Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald as one of her lead field deputies. He has his Bachelors of Arts in Communications from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
