  • Head of ZeroDivide, a San Francisco-based social impact consulting organization that innovatively uses technology to improve health, opportunities and civic engagement of underserved communities. Invested more than $50 million in organizations working with underserved communities since 1998.
  • Actively involved in technology adoption since 1987 when she managed the installation of a patient information management system at a community health center in Oakland.
  • Extensive board service includes: past chair of The California Endowment; secretary, Dignity Health; and board member of the Lucille Packard Foundation for Children's Health & Nonprofit Finance Fund.
  • Appointed by President Bill Clinton in 2000 to serve as an inaugural member of the President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Awards include: 100 Most Influential Filipinas in the U.S. and Outstanding APA Leadership Award from Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics (LEAP).
  • She traces her career of community service in part to her time at CSU East Bay, when she experienced firsthand the empowerment that comes from a tightknit, supportive community of learning.
