  • Won a 2014 Tony Award for best featured actor in a musical for his role as Genie in Disney’s Broadway musical, Aladdin.
  • Saluted CSUEB Theatre Department staff member Celestine Ranney-Howes in his 2014 Tony Award acceptance speech for helping him to finish college and stay focused on his goals.
  • Created the role of Bobby in the multiple-Tony Award-winning musical Memphis, launched at Theatreworks in Silicon Valley before it moved to Broadway.
  • Featured in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Broadway and The Wiz at New York’s City Center.
  • Member of the hip hop improv group Freestyle Love Supreme.
  • Television and film credits include Smash, We Are the Hartmans!, The Good Wife, The Electric Company (Silent E soloist), Good Morning America, and PBS Great Performances.
