Appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to the California Board of Registered Nursing in 2009 and currently serves as president. Represents 390,000 registered nurses in California.
Member of Association of California Nurse Leaders. California delegate to the National Council State Boards of Registered Nursing.
Lectures at local high schools on nursing and healthcare careers. Her first job was as a nursing aide at the Student Health Services at Fresno State.
