Ruiz Beck is the chairman of third generation business, Ruiz Foods—the nation’s largest manufacturer of frozen Mexican foods. Its El Monterey brand is ranked number one in sales and is available in 94 percent of all grocery stores in the United States.
Ruiz Foods operates in California, Texas and South Carolina and employs more than 3,000 team members. The company’s business practices earned national recognition from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
She oversees Ruiz 4 Kids, a non-profit organization of Ruiz Foods’ team members that has provided more than $3 million in scholarships to graduating high school and community college students. Ruiz Foods also committed $1 million to the Craig School of Business at Fresno State.
Ruiz Beck is president of Valley Children’s Hospital Foundation which provides support for 125,000 pediatric patients each year.
She is a member of the Fresno State Foundation board of governors and was honored as a Distinguished Top Dog Alumna by the Fresno State Alumni Association in 2017.
