  • Founding partner of VPE Public Relations, one of the country’s most established Hispanic-owned public relations agencies with over 25 years of service.
  • Since 1988, he has helped developed public relations programs for major national brands such as McDonald’s, Disneyland, Verizon, DirecTV, American Red Cross, Bank of America, Nestlé, AT&T and others. The agency has helped launch the careers of several hundred young professionals through its paid internship program.
  • Co-founder in 1985 of the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA), a national organization serving Hispanic PR professionals and students that has provided approximately $250,000 in scholarships.
  • Served as President of the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN), an association of 46 independent public relations agencies based in five continents.
  • Active community partner who serves on the boards of the CSUF College of Communications Dean’s Advisory Board; Los Angeles County Library Foundation; Los Angeles Music & Art School; and Council of Public Relations Firms.
  • Recognized by Hispanic Business magazine as a “Hispanic Influential”; Public Relations Society of America Pioneer Award; HPRA PRemio Award; and Hispanicize Visionary Award, among others.
