Brother and sister team built Klean Kanteen into a household brand name, building on the sustainability theme of producing safe, BPA free, reusable stainless steel drink containers.
Vision has been to reduce or eliminate the environmental impact of plastic containers on the planet. Their philosophy is firmly fixed on the task of making healthy, high-quality goods that will faithfully replace a lifetime of single-use items.
Member of 1% for the Planet, a global movement of companies donating at least 1% of their annual net revenues to environmental organizations worldwide.
Klean Kanteen recently completed requirements to become a certified benefit corporation. A “B Corp” meets rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.
Honored with the Breast Cancer Fund (BCF) Hero Award in 2010 and are active supporters of the BCF's work to eliminate BPA from all food and beverage containers.
