Crafted geographic information systems (GIS) skills while working for the Sea Floor Mapping Laboratory at CSU Monterey Bay.
Created custom digital multi-spectral video (DMSV) applications for coastal kelp mapping, authored the
Guide to Macrocystis Spectral Classification for TNTMips Software
and produced complete kelp maps for the entire California coast in 2002 and 2003, while working for the California Department of Fish and Game, Marine Region.
State and federally permitted biologist for several listed species, including California tiger salamander (
Ambystoma californiense
) and California red-legged frog (
Rana draytonii
).
Currently compiling all GIS data for 19 covered plant and wildlife species as part of the Former Fort Ord Habitat Conservation Plan geodatabase update and impact analysis.
