  • Founder and CEO of the New Teacher Center (NTC), a national organization dedicated to reducing the achievement gap in our nation’s schools by accelerating the effectiveness of new teachers and principals through comprehensive mentoring and professional-development programs.
  • Recipient of numerous educational, leadership and entrepreneurship awards for her dedicated to elevating the level of instruction in the nation’s educational system.
  • Moir has authored several books and produced documentaries on teacher induction and bilingual education.
  • In California, Moir has been a longtime advisor to the state’s Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BSTA) programs.
  • Appointed to The Aspen Institute’s National Commission on Social, Emotional and Academic Development.
