President of Parsons Environment and Infrastructure, a primary global business unit of Parsons Corporation, an international engineering, construction, technical, and management services firm with 13,000 employees and revenues of $3 billion in 2012.
Has 25 years of experience in both the public and private water sectors in North America and the Middle East. Her particular areas of expertise include water resource management; water treatment, conveyance, and storage; groundwater management; desalination; and water reuse.
While at the West Basin Municipal Water District (WBMWD), where she rose to the position of General Manager, she successfully implemented a $500 million Capital Improvement Program, including WBMWD’s “Designer Water” recycled water system.
While General Manager of Orange County Water District (OCWD) she successfully implemented the Groundwater Replenishment Project—the state’s first planned indirect potable reuse project.
Has authored several pieces of state and federal legislation relating to water resources and policy issues and served on the boards of numerous industry organizations.
