  • Selected by TIME magazine as one of "America's Top Ten Women Lawyers." Former partner in the firm of Ramsey and Durrell, LLP, specializing in civil litigation, rape and child molestation. Past President of the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.
  • Mediator and Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association. Taught Negotiation and Mediation at Stanford Law School, Boalt Hall, UC Berkeley and Hastings Law School.
  • Granddaughter of Leonard Seppala of the Alaskan Iditarod, Maja inherited an abiding connection to animals and nature.
