Graduated from high school at the age of 16 and started working in high-tech industry at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) at 17.
Put himself through community college and San José State University while working full-time at AMD.
Went from the lowest employee level position, as a test operator, to the second highest, as the executive vice president of Wireless Flash Memory Group, during his tenure at AMD.
Currently CEO of venture-backed Kovio, the first company to print silicon ink-based integrated circuits.
