Advocacy and State Relations

The Office of Advocacy and State Relations advocates for the interests of the California State University with the state's government. ASR does so with the help of the Chancellor's Office, the CSU's 23 campuses, alumni, and other supporters.

Every year, the CSU sponsors and tracks bills introduced in the state Legislature. In January 2017, new bills will be introduced, including those sponsored by the CSU Board of Trustees.

Advocacy and State Relations expects to share information about pertinent legislation and new sponsored bills on or about January 29, 2017.
