2017 COAST Annual Meeting
9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Thursday April 13, 2017
CSU Chancellor’s Office, Long Beach
401 Golden Shore Long Beach, CA 90802-4210

Please join us at the CSU Chancellor's Office in Long Beach on Thursday, April 13, 2017, for the COAST Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting will focus on how COAST and its members can provide the scientific basis for state and federal informed decision-making and policy development. In the afternoon, we will explore the scientific information needs of state and federal stakeholder agencies and identify mechanisms for individual faculty members with relevant expertise and research interest to develop future collaborations.

All members of COAST are invited-there is no limit on the number of people who can attend the meeting and we welcome everyone with interest. We can reimburse each campus for travel costs for two people (see details below). Please contact your Campus Representatives to determine whose travel costs will be covered by COAST.

Eligible Reimbursements: COAST will reimburse each campus for eligible travel expenses for up to two travelers following travel. Additional individuals are welcome and encouraged to attend at their own expense. Lodging reimbursement will be limited to one night unless prior arrangements with COAST are confirmed. If COAST will be reimbursing your campus for your travel, please plan to be at the meeting in its entirety.

Reimbursement Process: Travelers must submit a travel claim to their home campus to receive reimbursement. Please work with your Department to arrange travel, get any necessary paperwork in order, authorize travel prior to trip, and reimburse travel after your trip. Your Department will reimburse you, and COAST will then reimburse your Department once we receive documentation that you have filed your travel claim.

To seek reimbursement from COAST, please have your Department staff submit a copy of travel claim and/or documentation to Beth Pardieck. COAST will reimburse via CPO fund transfer to your campus. For any travel related questions, please contact Beth Pardieck, COAST Coordinator (epardieck@csumb.edu or 831-582-4209).
