Scott Wells is chief executive officer for Santé Health System and Advantek Benefit Administrators. Under his direction, Advantek provides quality third party administration services to clients of all industries. In addition, Mr. Wells manages and directs management services to the region’s largest independent physicians association, and numerous other specialty practice management clients. He previously served as president of the Santé Health Foundation.
Santé is a group of more than 1,200 physicians and nurse practitioners. It currently serves more than 120,000 individuals throughout Fresno, Madera and Kings counties.
Before joining Santé/Advantek in 1995, Mr. Wells was director of audit and consulting services and senior vice president, physician services and new ventures for Community Medical Centers. Prior to his service with Community, he was a senior manager with Ernst and Young's accounting, auditing and consulting department. Mr. Wells is a certified public accountant.
In 2003, the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA), a statewide leadership group active in health care policy and managed care issues, appointed Mr. Wells to its board of directors. He has a bachelor of business administration, accountancy degree from California State University, Fresno.
