Scholarships

Scholarships

Scholarships are available to cover full or partial tuition. Scholarships rarely cover housing and other additional costs. All applicants will be considered for the maximum amount of aid available to them.

Scholarships are awarded based on both financial need and talent. A complete application, including all required application materials, will ensure you receive thorough consideration for aid.

TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP:

Prepare your financial documentation to submit with your application. If you've already completed your application and would still like to submit a scholarship application, contact us for instructions.

Financial documentation:

Submit your information if you are:

  • born before January 1, 2000
  • an active duty member or veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces
  • an orphan or ward of the court, in foster care, homeless, or legally emancipated
  • have legal dependents other than a spouse
  • a graduate student, or
  • married

If none of the above apply to you, submit your parents’ information.

Financial documentation consists of:

  • The first page (indicating adjusted gross income) of your or your parents’ 2023 federal tax return (Form 1040).
  • If you or your parents have not filed your 2023 federal income taxes, enclose copies of your W-2 or 1099 earning statements for 2023.

If you don’t have any financial documentation, contact us.

In most cases, you will be notified of your scholarship award status within two weeks of the application deadline for a course.

If you are a CSU student receiving financial aid:

Ask your campus financial aid office if you qualify for “visiting student status” to Fresno State. If you qualify, you will be able to apply your existing financial aid to CSU Summer Arts.
