​Unscripted Development Internship​

Xpedition Media is looking for an Unscripted Development Intern to remotely join their Los Angeles team. The development team at Xpedition Media is committed to developing ideas that stay true to our mission of telling honest, heartfelt stories that stir both the soul and the imagination on both a local and global scale. We currently have a show ordered straight to series and multiple production deals set up at major studios.​

We’re seeking someone eager to learn about unscripted development and contribute creatively to the team.

The intern will gain significant exposure to a fast-paced unscripted development team, with numerous shows in different stages of development.

The intern will learn how to:

-Identify material that could be adapted to a docu-series, unscripted show, documentary film, or podcast, identify host talent, research ideas from start to finish, create pitch materials for all types of shows, and learn the changing trends in television. Interns must have a passion for unscripted content and documentaries.
Due to COVID-19 production restrictions, this internship will have a heavy emphasis on pitching, research and remote production.​

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research​ for various projects

• Pitch new ideas and host talent

• Finding footage for sizzle reels

• Assist with casting

• Assist department VP and Coordinator with project needs

• Track new shows and trends

Qualifications: 

• Must be able to work 2 days a week for the fall semester 8/31-12/11

• Desire to learn about unscripted/documentary development

• Google Suite Proficiency

• Eligible for College credit
