It is with great disappointment that we announce that the CSU Alumni Reception in Seoul has been cancelled. This decision was made in light of the World Health Organization declaring the coronavirus outbreak a “Public Health Emergency of International Concern” and further advising “social distancing measures,” as well as notification that several large scale events had been cancelled in nearby countries with confirmed cases.
In consideration of the health and safety of our alumni, guests, and employees, we felt the safest course of action was to cancel and reduce the risks to hundreds of expected guests. We were thrilled with the enthusiastic response to the reception and that so many international alumni are proud to be “Made in the CSU.” It is our sincere hope to reschedule the event in the coming months.
