  • Greg Colson is a Los Angeles based, multimedia artist, having received his BA in Fine Arts from CSU Bakersfield and his MFA from Claremont Graduate University.
  • His work has been the subject of exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe, including Patrick Painter Inc., Los Angeles; Sperone Westwater, New York; Galleria Cardi, Milan; Kunsthalle Lophem, Bruges; Konrad Fischer, Dusseldorf; and the Lannan Museum, Lake Worth, Florida.
  • His work is in many public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C.; the Panza Collection, Varese, Italy; Sammlung Rosenkranz, Berlin; Galleria Sperone, Rome, Italy and the Moderna Museet, Stockholm.
  • Colson has returned to CSUB numerous times, to participate in alumni art exhibitions and lectures. Greg and his brother, Jeff, are the first alumni from the Department of Fine Arts to be inducted into the CSUB Alumni Hall of Fame.
