Employs 2,400 people, each who has the opportunity to earn college scholarships provided by his company.
Was named Restaurateur of the Year in 2004.
His company, AB Enterprises, which runs 11 Applebee's Restaurants, was ranked 87th out of 200 restaurant franchises by Restaurant Finance Monitor in 2005.
A native of Hong Kong, he came to the United States to attend college at CSU Long Beach.
