  • Is a trauma, vascular and general surgeon with more than 30 years of experience. Serves as associate medical director at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) and chairman of the Department of Surgery, a position he has held since 1989. He was ARMC medical director from 2000-2012 and is the founding president and chief executive officer of California University of Science and Medicine.
  • Appointed by Governor Brown to the Medical Board of California in 2012 and now serves as the chair of the Enforcement Committee. He also served as president of the California Medical Association (CMA) from 2008-2009 and has served on the AMPAC Board—the political action committee of the American Medical Association—since 2012.
  • The CMA established the “Dev GnanaDev Membership Award” in 2010 to recognize him for his relentless work in recruiting new members.
  • Serves as founder and president of Arrowhead Community Surgery Medical Group, Inc., which is comprised of approximately 18 general and specialty surgeons.
  • Is a clinical professor of surgery at Western University of Health Sciences and associate professor of surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
  • Received numerous awards, including the American Medical Association Foundation’s Excellence in Medicine Award; the McGovern Compleat Physician Award from the Houston Academy of Medicine; the California Medical Board’s Physician of the Year Award; and the Distinguished Executive of the Year Award from California State University, San Bernardino.
