Founder and CEO of HealthlinkNow, a leading telemedicine company, and serves on the Board of California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF).
Served for 13 years as a clinical nurse in intensive care, hospice and home health care for Kaiser Permanente.
A sought-after proponent of telemedicine, she teaches classes on distance medicine and has served on a national board promoting access to medical care via telecommunications technology.
In 2006, tapped by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to advise the governor’s statewide eHealth Forum.
Former executive director of the California Telemedicine and eHealth Center (CTEC) from 2003 to 2007. Served as executive director of the California Medical Board from 2007 to 2010 and was the first woman to hold that position.
Authored the premier research study on the delivery of homecare by telemedicine.
