Established by the California Legislature and required by Education Code, CSU campuses must honor these waivers for qualifying students.

Alan Pattee Fee Waiver

Applies to:

Surviving spouse or surviving child of an active CA law enforcement/fire suppression officer killed in the line of duty. Must enroll as an undergraduate student at a CSU campus.

California Veteran Fee Waiver

Applies to:

Eligible Dependents of Veterans as described in the Education Code section listed below.

Dependents of Victims of September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks Fee Waiver

Applies to:

California Residents who are dependent survivors of persons killed in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks. Must enroll as an undergraduate student at a CSU campus.

Non-Resident California High School Graduates

Applies to:

Non-resident students who attended for at least 3 years, and graduated from a California High School - based on the qualifications of Education Code 68130.5

Applies to:

Non-resident active duty servicemembers and veterans under the Montgomery and Post-9/11 GI Bills; meet all requirements under Education Code 68075.7
